(Georgetown, Guyana – Feb. 9, 2023) Excel Guyana Inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of Mr. Shazim Ali to the position of Vice President of Corporate Development and Operations.
In this new capacity, Mr. Ali will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of the company’s corporate development, local content, and operations. He will collaborate with the organization’s four divisions to implement strategies to drive company growth and expansion. With extensive experience in managing ISO implementation and overseeing compliance with the Local Content Secretariate, Mr. Ali will also guide the operations team to ensure the highest quality in client services.
Mr. Ali originally joined Excel Guyana in February 2022, where he has served in advancing positions to facilitate the organization’s accelerated growth in the local and international market. Additionally, he chairs the American Chamber of Commerce Public Relations Committee and serves on committees at the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce.
